DMMMSU, Canadian Executive Service Organization forge partnership anew

Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University research and extension team attended a meeting with Mr. Matt Navalta, representative of the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO), at the Gladiola Hotel, Benguet State University, La Trinidad Benguet on October 14, 2022.

With the aim to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between DMMMSU NARTDI and CESO on beekeeping, NARTDI OIC Executive Director requested the meeting with CESO. The meeting was focused on programs and services of CESO on the empowerment of women. Ms. Ivy Lecitona, International Assistance Officer of the Global Affairs Canada (GAC) of the Canadian Embassy was also invited during the meeting.

CESO is a Non-Government Organization based in Toronto, Canada implementing a volunteer cooperation program that taps skilled Canadians who provide short-term advisory assistance. It has been a partner of DMMMSU NARTDI in the promotion of beekeeping for more than a decade.

DMMMSU team was composed of OIC Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Angelina T. Gonzales; University Research Director Prof. Keneth G. Bayani; University Extension Director Prof. Emerita D. Galiste; NARTDI OIC Executive Director, Mr. George T. Bondot; NARTDI Research and Development Division Chief, Mr. Joseph A. Panas; Mr. David T.
